Rapid Development

Our Rapid Development Team exists to get functional prototypes in your hands with short lead times, quick responses, and excellent quality. Our target lead times are measured in days, not weeks or months. We target quote turnaround in 48 hours or less. The average lead time for initial prototypes through our Rapid Development Team has remained below 5 days with an on time delivery average of 98% throughout the R+D process for nearly 15 years!

Electropolishing

LFI offers electropolishing services with tight process controls to enhance the surface finish of a wide variety of metals. Our process provides a smooth, reflective surface, improves corrosion resistance and minimizes particulate adhesion. We offer the option to validate processes which are developed specifically for your application.

Electropolishing, along with our wide variety of additional finishing services is available for products being manufactured in-house at LFI and as a stand-alone service to improve surface finish on customer provided or outsourced products.

LFI provides tube bending services for diameters from 0.020” to 2”. We design and manufacture our own fixtures and systems, enabling us to support both low-volume prototyping with hand-bending fixtures and high-volume production using custom CNC machines. Our capabilities include producing both tight and large-radius bends to meet a variety of project needs.
