LFI has been laser drilling complex 5-axis holes in exotic metals for nearly thirty years. We have drilled over four million shaped holes in one turbine component alone. In doing so we yield a process sigma of 6.56. With the addition of an OGP Quest 650 laser/vision system, we are now able to measure more accurately and more quickly than any other means available.
